Launched in 2005, the Harper's Bazaar Diamond Guild Australia Jewellery Awards is the most prestigious national award for diamond jewellery design. Held every two years, the Awards provide jewellery designers with the opportunity to showcase the superior quality, innovation and style of Australian design.

Winning this prestigious accolade catapults the winner's standing in the jewellery industry and their reputation among discerning jewellery buyer. There are six categories and designs are judged on their originality, innovation, fashion appeal and contemporary design, as well as the quality of workmanship.

Entries are judged by pre-eminent fashion and jewellery identities and finalists from each category are published in Harper’s Bazaar. The six winners are announced at a glittering black tie dinner in Sydney and published in an editorial feature in Harper's Bazaar.
